Asking questions during an interview shows you’re interested in the job. It sets you apart from other candidates who may have conveyed a feeling of the event being just another interview. Asking the right questions may even land you the job- even if you’re under or over qualified.

What are they right questions to ask?

1. What are your expectations of me during the first 90 days.

A: Employers love this questions because it shows you will take the probation period seriously and that you work towards goals.

2.  What are the common traits among your employees?

A:  This question shows potential employers that you’re seeking to fit in within the company’s culture. You care not only about being able to perform the job, but also about being able to work within the social structure of the company.

3.  What is the average time an employee works here?

A: This question is great for those seeking long-term employment. Don’t worry about asking about promotions during an interview. Worry, instead, about asking how long most employees stay at the company. You don’t want to accept a job at a company with tons of turnover.

Finding a job is becoming easier and easier these day. Make sure to ask the right questions in order to find the right job!
