Ok..ok.. so I am finally going to take the plunge and really put social media on my calendar of “to do’s”. I have relented finally to the large mountain that I have yet had no luck at climbing with any true result.  Meaning,  I get so far up (a few tweets here, some Facebook posts there) and it seems I inevitably fall back down to the bottom again, (sans any social media for weeks) only to look up and think to myself:

“ do I need to do this, really?”

True to form, I love to investigate, ask questions and ponder the obvious. So I took to, where else, but Google, to see what other CEOs are doing and saying.

Of course I have to wonder, do they really post and blog all of this themselves, or do they have that ever efficient and highly paid Executive Assistant doing these social media TO DO’s for them? I would guess it might be 50/50.  For the local CEO’s I asked, they do it themselves.

Before I jump into this I wanted to share for those of you who, like me, are still grumbling about it… This article offered some really great resources and helpful ideas to making this mountain called Social Media seem much more scalable to me.  See for yourselves http://michaelhyatt.com/social-media-tools.html
