Job Description

This client is the world’s premier developer and operator (owner) of a proprietary and exciting experiential entertainment center. The company opens & operates franchises around the world and is in major cities worldwide including Los Angeles, London, Dubai, Moscow, and Singapore.

They are executing a US national roll out of facilities for the one of their (4) branches of business and is seeking an experienced commercial construction team PROJECT MANAGER with the experience of managing office affairs for $60M+ in construction projects nationwide and worldwide.

Construction Project Manager Capable of organizing and supporting up to 10-12 Project Team personnel at the Corporate offices. Well versed in all aspects of commercial construction development, pre-construction, negotiating contracts, working with General Contractors on both scope and budget. Ability to learn and organize teams in different cities and states ( possibly countries) which requires organization and streamlining processes, adaption to new codes and construction practices based on location.

Ideal candidate will have a min 5 yrs of solid experience as a commercial construction (ground up) project manager. Preferably working with construction of retail rollouts, chains, franchises would be ideal.

Responsibilities

The Construction Project Manager:

  • Organizes permitting process to ensure timely execution of projects
  • Participates in bidding process for General Contractors and subcontractors
  • Creates and stewards construction schedules for multiple facilities at various locations
  • Establishes and stewards budgets for multiple facilities
  • Performs punch-listing and quality checking during and at the completion of construction
  • Coordinates onsite owners’ meetings and coordinates design issues with contractor and architect
  • Coordinates with architect for review and approval of submittals, RFI’s, and Change Orders
  • This position will require up to 40-50% travel.

Qualifications

  • Education – Construction management degree preferred, project management certification preferred
  • Experience – Project management – 5-10 years
  • Experience with entertainment or commercial chain roll outs preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing designers
  • Ability to achieve budget and schedule objectives

Software proficiencies: CAD, REVIT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
